The Village

The Village of Birstall is situated on the A6 between Loughborough and Leicester.

The Parish Council covers an area with a population of approximately 15,500.

Birstall is a busy bustling Village with a good variety of shops situated mainly along the Sibson Road area but also along Wanlip Lane and Kingsgate Avenue.

At leisure in Birstall? As well as the beautiful Watermead Country Park to walk around, there are three playing field areas and "Birstall Golf Club". Fancy a drink? There are three public houses in Birstall : The Trees, The Earl of Stamford and The White Horse.
