About the Village Hall

Birstall Village Hall is situated in the heart of the Village at the corner of School Lane and Birstall Road. There is a free long-stay Car Park at the back of the Hall on the School Lane Playing Fields.

The Hall is widely used during the day and evenings by various Clubs and Groups (all of which can be contacted via this Office).

The Hall is available for hire see 'What's on' and Availability and makes an ideal setting for a party / function. The staging also makes the Hall perfect for plays etc.

The Hall measures 13.5m x 10.40m (44'4" x 34'2").
It seats 120 if the seats are laid out in rows (as in a theatre / cinema).
If tables are being set out for a meal, it comfortably seats around 70.

Furniture:
15 trestle tables (180cm x 76 cm / 72" x 30").
8 square tables (74 cm x 74cm / 30" x 30").
120 chairs.
4 kiddies tables (110cm x 55cm / 44" x 22") with small chairs.

With hire of the Hall, the kitchenette comes free. This contains a sink and kettles only.
