Greengate Lane Cemetery

The Parish Council maintains the Cemetery situted on Greengate Lane.

The Cemetery Building was refurbished in 2005 to include new toilet facilities and Sexton's Office. The Building was officially opened by the Mayor of Charnwood, Councillor R Wilson on 9th October 2005.

There are three sections in the Cemetery: -
Grave Spaces for coffins (Ash Caskets may be interred after a coffin)
Ash Interment - the Woodland Walk
Scattering of Ashes - available to non-residents

Cemetery Gates Opening Hours

Summer Opening:
The gates are unlocked at 8.00 am and locked at 7.00 pm.

Winter Opening:
The gates are unlocked at 8.00 an and locked at dusk.
